The pastor position at South Barwon was filled in April 2024. The new pastor will begin his ministry at South Barwon in the coming months.
South Barwon is an elder-led congregation. Together, the elders and the pastor (who is a 'teaching elder') make up the Session. The Session is responsible for the spiritual oversight of the church, ensuring that people are well cared for and growing in their faith, that we are theologically sound in all we do, and that we are active in the mission to which Christ has called us. Session meets at least monthly to discuss and pray. There are currently five elders: Stephen Lewis, Andrew Thierry, Andy Warren, Murray Capill and Jared Catchpoole
