Ezekiel's voice had thundered against the injustices of Israel for over twenty chapters (Ezekiel 3-24), but now God's focus shifts to "the nations" surrounding them - the likes of Egypt, Edom, and Tyre. No one hides from God's insight. In all, seven nations are identified; all of them will reap wrath (chapters 25-32). In announcing his judgment, we see God in all his moral perfection. He is a God who cannot sit idly by in the face of sin. It's as awesome a sight, as it is disturbing. If God condemns both Israel and the nations for sin, both Jew and Gentile standing guilty, who on earth can be spared?
